Historic Building Could Be Turned Into Flats

Plans have been announced to convert a historic building on Northampton Road in Market Harborough into five flats.
Developers are seeking permission to carry out the work inside the grade two-listed building at the Springfield Street junction.
The building on Northampton Road
The building dates back to the 1860’s and has most recently been used as offices, although over the years has been used as a Police Station, Magistrates’ Court, health spa and social club.
Harborough District Council will consider the change of use application.
