‘No Serious Injuries’ After Crash On A6

Police say it’s believed nobody was seriously injured in a crash on the A6 near Desborough this morning.

It happened close to the Desborough Road/Braybrooke Road roundabout at about 10am and involved a VW Polo, a Hyundai Tucson and a van.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police told Hfm: “Paramedics have been treating the drivers at the scene but we don’t believe there are any serious injuries.”

The road was blocked while emergency services worked at the scene, leading to long queues stretching towards Junction 3 of the A14, compounded by drivers diverting that way due to the closure on the A14 between Junction 2 (Kelmarsh) and Junction 1 (Welford) because of a large spillage on the carriageway.
