‘No Serious Injuries’ After Crash Near Great Glen

Police say no one was ‘seriously injured’ in a crash near Great Glen this morning.
One of the two vehicles involved came to rest in a ditch after the collision just off the A6, at the Station Road/Newton Lane junction.
The road was closed while the incident was dealt with.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told HFM: “We were called to a report of a two-vehicle collision just after 6.45am.
“One of the drivers reported his vehicle had gone into a ditch. No serious injuries were reported and the road has since reopened.”
