‘No Serious Injuries’ After B6047 Crash

Police say a driver was not seriously injured after a car crashed on the B6047 yesterday afternoon.

Just one vehicle was involved in the collision near Illston on the Hill, just after 3pm.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told Hfm no life-threatening or life-changing injuries were reported.

The road was closed until 4.30pm, while the incident was dealt with and the car was recovered.
