No Action After Phone Mast Removed Without Permission

Harborough District Council will take no further action after a mobile phone mast it owned was removed without permission.

The structure was taken down in September when EE removed equipment from the site in the Friendship Park on Northampton Road, which was being decommissioned.

A council spokesperson said: “We confirm that there will be no further action from the council following the removal of the mast by EE at their own expense.”

A new art sculpture is set to be installed where the mast once stood.
