New Think Tank Report

Harborough’s MP is the author of a new think tank report published today – which finds the East Midlands is getting a raw deal in terms of spending on the sorts of things which encourage growth.
Ahead of next week’s Budget, Neil O’Brien has found that considerable “levelling up” is needed here in areas such as transport, innovation, housing and culture.
He says that, for many decades under successive governments, our region has been sadly neglected.
Mr O’Brien hopes his new report will encourage the government to give the eat Midlands a fairer deal.
