New Drive-Thru & Convenience Store Planned

Plans have been unveiled for a new convenience food store and drive-thru coffee shop in Kibworth Harcourt.

The development is proposed for land at the junction of Wistow Road and Warwick Road, adjacent to Priory Business Park.

Developer Manor Oak Homes says the scheme would serve expected residential growth in the area and provide food and drink options within walking distance of nearby employment areas, which currently lack such facilities.

The proposal includes a 410sqm convenience store and a 190sqm drive-thru unit, with a 67-space car park that includes 12 electric vehicle charging bays, as well as servicing space and landscaping.

The planning application submitted to Harborough District Council seeks approval for access to the site, with all other details reserved for later consideration.
