New Banking Hub Opens
Written by HFM News on 10th December 2025
Market Harborough’s new Banking Hub has opened in St Mary’s Place.
The facility now has a permanent home after operating from the Symington Building on a temporary basis, following the closure of the town’s last bank branch earlier this year.
It offers a counter service and community banking services, where customers can talk to their own bank on different days about more complicated issues.
The hub, run by the Post Office with support from Cash Access UK, is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
The official opening will take place on Friday, with Neil O’Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby and Wigston attending to cut the ribbon.
He helped campaign for the Banking Hub and spoke to HFM:
