Motorcyclist Injured On A6 Bypass

A motorcyclist was injured after coming off their bike on the A6 Market Harborough bypass last night.

Emergency services were called to the stretch of road between the Rockingham Road and McDonald’s roundabouts just after 9.30pm.

Leicestershire Police say the male rider was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening and no other vehicles were involved in the collision.

The road was shut in both directions while the incident was dealt with.
