More Strikes To Disrupt Train Services From Market Harborough

Written by on 23rd November 2022

More strike action is to disrupt train services from Market Harborough.

Members of the RMT Union at East Midlands Railway will stage 48-hour walkouts on the 13 & 14th and 16th & 17th of December and between the 3rd & 4th & 6th & 7th of January.

Further disruption will be caused when depot workers, who are members of Unite union, strike in December, on the 2nd, 3rd, 23rd and Christmas Eve.

Both walkouts are in an on-going row over pay.

EMR is yet to confirm how its timetable on strike days will be impacted, but previous walkouts have seen a vastly reduced rail service.

There will be no services running on Saturday (Nov 26th) when drivers who are members of the ASLEF union stage another strike in their dispute with the company over pay.
