More Play Areas To Be Transformed

More play areas across the Harborough district are to be revamped as part of a move to encourage more family’s to use them.
It follows upgrades at parks in Market Harborough, Great Glen and Fleckney over the past few months, which have been welcomed by users.

Harborough Council says equipment in Lutterworth and Broughton Astley will be replaced next, including some aimed at disabled children, as part of the work totaling £250,000.
Councillor James Hallam, Harborough District Council’s portfolio holder for finance and assets, said: “This fantastic new play equipment is transforming play areas for families across the district and I’m delighted we are set to continue our programme of investment and improvements.”
The six play areas which have just been completed are, Sherrard Road, Roman Way, Burford Green and Goodwood Close in Market Harborough, Cromwell Road, Great Glen and Edward Road in Fleckney.
