Men Deny Robbing Spar Shop

Two men are to go on trial accused of robbing the Spar Shop in Market Harborough over two years ago.

Gary Lee Wood and James McClafferty have appeared in Court to deny stealing cash and cigarettes from the Coventry Road on January 13th 2018, when staff were threatened with a knife.

They also pleaded not guilty to conspiring to rob Co-Op stores in Braybrooke Road, Desborough, Brigstock and Broughton in Northamptonshire, during a ten day period that month.

Wood, 34, formally of Corby but now of HMP Wood Hill, Milton Keynes and McClafferty, 36, of Crick Close, Corby will stand trial later this year at Northampton Crown Court
