Market Harborough Sea Cadets Celebrate 10th Anniversary

Market Harborough’s Sea Cadets unit is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
It was relaunched in 2012 after being dormant for over 50 years and is now thriving, with 24 new places available its junior section and new Royal Marines Cadets unit.
Lt Shane Daly is the Commanding Officer of the Sea Cadets and spoke to Hfm’s Nick Shaw:
The Sea Cadets use Market Harborough’s Union wharf
An open evening for people interested in joining the Royal Marines Cadets (open to tohse aged 13-18) takes place next Tuesday and next Friday for youngsters interested in the Junior Sea Cadets (aged 9-11)
Both are taking place at the St Dioysius Church Hall on Coventry Road in Market Harborough from 7pm.
The unit is also appealing for more volunteer adults to help them.
