Man Suffers Burns After Fire In Stoke Albany

A man suffered burns to his hands and legs after a fire in a workshop at the back of a house in Stoke Albany last night.

He was also treated for the effects of inhaling smoke, before being taken to hospital.

Fire crews from Desborough and Corby were called at 8.45pm and used breathing apparatus to tackle to fire, which left the building and motorbikes inside, damaged.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service say the blaze started as one of the bikes was being filled with fuel.
