Man Stabbed In Market Harborough

An investigation is continuing after a man arrived at Market Harborough police station with a stab wound injury last night.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was taken there in a Land Rover Defender car just after 8pm.
Officers based within the police station administered immediate treatment at the scene, before the man was taken to hospital by the East Midlands Ambulance Service with serious injuries.
Leicestershire Police believe it was an isolated incident and an investigation to establish where and when the man was stabbed and the wider circumstances surrounding the incident is continuing.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Detective Sergeant Vicki Hudson, from our Complex Investigation Team (CIT), said: “Our enquiries are continuing today and I believe there are people who can provide information that can help.
“We believe this is an isolated incident but I’d urge anyone who has information about it and has not yet contacted police to do so. Anything you can tell us, no matter how insignificant you think it might be, could be important.”
