Firefighters were called to release a man who had become trapped under a car in Great Glen.
Two crews were sent to Chestnut Drive in the village at 9.15pm on Friday after a report that an adult male was stuck under a vehicle.
When they arrived they found the man trapped, and used heavy-duty inflatable bags to lift the car, allowing the man to be freed with the incident over some 45 minutes later.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service say it was unclear how the man had become trapped, but he appeared to be unharmed and went to hospital as a precaution to be checked over.
