Man Released Under Investigation After Collision In Desborough

A man arrested after a teenage boy was seriously injured in a crash in Desborough has been released under investigation.
The 38-year-old was held on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, following the collision on Rothwell Road yesterday morning.
The boy – who was riding a manual scooter – was taken to hospital by air ambulance and being involved in collision with a car driver.
The collision happened just after 8am between the junctions of Christopher Close and Brooke Close and Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
Officers would especially like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage that may have captured the incident.
