A man arrested in Market Harborough after being confronted by on-line paedophile hunters has been jailed for 22 months for breaching the terms of his licence.

Nigel Clapton was handed a 12-month suspended prison sentence last July for causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and made subject of a ten-year sexual harm prevention order.

He was arrested after members of the Children’s Innocence Matters group carried out an on-line sting operation before visiting his home and alerting Leicestershire Police.
