Man Jailed After PC Assaulted During Disturbance In Harborough Street

A Market Harborough man who assaulted a Police officer during a disturbance in the street has been jailed for 20 months.
Benjamin Lee kicked the constable in the face while being arrested on Logan Street on April 25th.
Leicester Crown Court heard Police had been called when he starting acting aggressively towards occupants of a house.
Lee, 41, who was living in Logan Street at the time, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence, assaulting an emergency worker and breaching a suspended sentence and restraining order.
