Man Charged After Police Op Targeting Shoplifters

A man’s been charged with theft after an undercover operation targeting shoplifters in Market Harborough
The 31-year-old from the town is accused of stealing a bottle of gin from Sainsbury’s yesterday lunchtime.
Officers in plain clothes arrested him in near-by St Mary’s Place just after 1pm.
He’ll now appear before Magistrates
