A man has admitted two weapons offences following an incident in a Market Harborough street.
Lee Ostler appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court after being arrested on Friday afternoon when armed police officers were called to Gladstone Street, following reports of someone with a ‘rifle’.

The 50-year-old, who lives in the street, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm in a public place and also possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He admitted having an unloaded air weapon without a lawful reason, which is an offence under the Firearms Act 1968.
Ostler was released on conditional bail ahead of sentencing in January.
