Man Accused Of Desborough Knife Assault Appears In Court

A Desborough man accused of assaulting three people with a knife has appeared at Northampton Crown Court today.

Jordan Scott admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, following an incident in the garden of a house in Paddock Lane on June 29th.

The 24-year-old, of Union Street, pleaded not guilty to charges of Section 18 wounding with intent and Section 18 attempt wounding with intent.

He will now face a trial later this year in relation to those matters and was remanded back into custody.

Police said two men and woman suffered minor injuries in the incident.
