Lotto Raises Over £24k For Good Causes

Over £24,000 has been raised for good causes since the launch of the Harborough Lotto.
Over 500 people are regularly playing the community lottery, with an average of 1,000 sold each week.
Prize money totaling £8,000 has been handed out in the first year of its operation.
The figures have been revealed in a report prepared by the company operating the lotto on behalf of Harborough Council.
60% of each player’s £1 ticket goes to their chosen charity or community group, of which 40 are now registered – with a top prize of £25,000
