Lorry Crashes Through Central Reservation & Overturns On A14
Written by HFM News on 4th April 2022
A lorry has crashed through the central reservation on the A14 and overturned on the opposite carriageway.
Emergency services are at the scene between junction two, the Kelmarsh turn and junction three, the A6 turn near Rothwell.
National Highways say the HGV crossed over from the eastbound carriageway onto the westbound carriageway and came to rest on it’s side.
The road has been closed in both directions – the eastbound carriageway is closed from the M1/M6 junction and the westbound between junction 3 and junction two.
Traffic has been diverted towards Market Harborough, meaning roads in and around the town are extra busy.
No more details about the incident have yet been released.
