Local Events Cancelled Due To Coronavirus

A number of local groups have cancelled events and others will stop meeting, as a precaution because of the Coronavirus outbreak.

A Coffee Morning due to take place at Harborough Theatre tomorrow is off.

The Market Harborough Gymnastics Club will not be meeting until further notice, citing the confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Desborough and Kettering as the reason.

With the club having members from both Leicestershire and Northamptonshire and being a hand-on sport, they say they want to protect children, staff and parents.

The Market Harborough Breathe Easy Support Group will also not meet until further notice, as most of its members fall into the ‘at risk’ category.

Great Bowden Music Fest has cancelled performances for local schools of ‘Peter and the Wolf’ due to take place on March 20th.
