Conservatives Retain Control Of Council

The Conservatives have retained control of Harborough District Council, with a slightly reduced majority, following yesterday’s election.

They secured 22 of the 34 seat up for grabs, the Liberal Democrats won 11 and Labour 1.
The Liberal Democrats picked up 2 extra seats, having previously held 9, while it’s the first time Labour have had one of their Councillors represented for some years.
