Lights Switch-On In Market Harborough Tonight

The countdown to Christmas begins in Market Harborough tonight with the town’s lights switch-on.
The HFM-hosted event on The Square runs from 5pm until 8pm and will include street entertainment and live music, with the lights being switched on at 6.30pm.
The switch-on coincides with a winter food and drink fayre on The Square this weekend.
Gail Bates, Market and Events Manager at Harborough District Council told HFM the evening is set to be a great start to the festive season:

Roads around The Square will be closed from 4pm until 9pm to allow the event to take place safely:
St Mary’s Road at the junction of Adam and Eve Street, Northampton Road at the bridge and Coventry Road at the junction of High Street.
