Latest Teachers’ Strike Causes Disruption At Harborough Schools

Latest strikes by teachers is causing disruption at schools across Harborough today.
Members of the National Education Union have walked out in their on-going row with the government over pay, meaning most schools are either fully or partially closed.
Only students in Year 10 and 12 at Robert Smyth Academy can attend lessons, while Welland Park Academy is closed to all but those in Year 10 and a small number of other pupils.
There will be similar disruption this Friday, when another national strike takes place.
