Latest Strike Action Disrupts Train Services

People returning to work after the festive break are being warned of five days of disruption to train services from Market Harborough because of more strikes.
Workers at East Midlands Railway, represented by the RMT and ASLEF unions, are walking out in an on-going row over pay and conditions.
The staff are joining thousands of workers nationwide in taking action, meaning a reduced timetable is in place from today until Saturday, with EMR services only running between 7.30am and 6.30pm.
There will be no train services running at all from Market Harborough on Thursday.
