Controversial plans for 255 new homes on green space in Desborough have been put on hold after a last-ditch objection by campaigners.
It was lodged by the Protect The Ise Valley group, which is fighting against the houses going up on land off Rothwell Road.

Councillors were recommended to approve the plan by Bellway Homes at a meeting last night, but the decision was deferred, so the objection, which involves legal matters, can be fully assessed by officers at North Northamptonshire Council.
The plan is now likely to be considered next month.
Outline planning permission was granted by a planning inspector in 2018, but campaigners argue the circumstances for the land and its ecological and social importance have changed hugely since then.
