Jobs Boost As New Care Home Opens In Market Harborough

A new care home has been officially opened in Market Harborough today creating 50 jobs.
Oat Hill Mews was built on the site of the town’s former ambulance station off Leicester Road to provide residential, respite, nursing and dementia care for over 70 people.
Today’s ribbon cutting ceremony
Operated by Care UK, the home was officially opened this afternoon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and other activities.
There was also a presentation of £500 to Market Harborough-based charity Shopmobility, following a ‘Local Heroes’ competition.
