Job Fair In Market Harborough Today

Over 20 local firms are showcasing their vacancies in Market Harborough today.

The Job Fair is on at the Symington Building from 11am until 2pm and follows the success of the inaugural event in April, attended by over 80 people.

Employers from a variety of sectors will be there, along with career advisors and training providers.

The District Council has teamed up with Job Centre Plus to host the recruitment event, aimed at getting people back into work and encouraging others to upskill or think about a change in career.

Cllr Phil King, Leader of Harborough District Council, said: “The last Job Fair proved very popular, and this next opportunity is not to be missed if you’re open to a new role or career change. It is exciting that so many local employers are attending, and I would like to thank them for their involvement.”

Emma Kendrick, Employer Adviser Manger from Market Harborough Jobcentre said: “Our team from Market Harborough Jobcentre, are delighted that, with our partners, we will be running our second face-to-face Recruitment Event this year.

“After the huge success of our first event back in April since Covid, we wanted to build on that and keep the momentum going. I
