Investigation After Large Fire On Outskirts Of Market Harborough

An investigation is underway after a large fire in an agricultural building just outside Market Harborough last night.
Six fire crews from Leicestershire and Northamptonshire battled the blaze off Lubenham Road, between East Farndon and Lubenham.

The fire service received numerous 999 calls to the area, which backs onto the Farndon Fields Estate, just before 11pm.
Two water carriers were also sent to the scene to provide firefighters with extra water to fight the fire.
The building, which contained farm machinery and stock, was well alight when firefighters arrived and they worked for over two hours to extinguish it.
Fire investigators are working to determine what started the fire.
There are no reports of injuries.
