Investigation After Fire Wrecks Historic Pub In Lutterworth

An investigation is underway in a bid to determine what started a fire that badly damaged a historic pub in Lutterworth yesterday.
The thatched roof of The Shambles on Bell Street was destroyed in the blaze, which broke out at lunchtime.
One person was treated for the effects of smoke inhalation, as firefighters from three counties tackled the incident.
Firefighters were still at the scene overnight and remain there today.
