Investigation After Dog Found Dead In Canal

The RSPCA has launched an investigation after a dog was found dead in a canal near Great Bowden.
The female terrier was discovered in the water off Leicester Lane yesterday.

The animal welfare charity was alerted by volunteers from the Dogz Dinner Animal Foodbank in Market Harborough, who recovered the dog from the canal.
The RSPCA say the animal was not micro-chipped and its investigation is in the early stages.
