Information Event In Kibworth Tonight About Railway Works

People in Kibworth can find out tonight how work to electrify the railway will affect them.

Network Rail is hosting an information event at the Old Grammar School Hall from 6.30pm til 7.30pm

Overhead line equipment will be installed beside the railway line through the village, as the next phase of the multi-million pound project to electrify the Midland Mainline between Market Harborough and Wigston takes place.

The work will involve pile-driving masts into the ground, which will cause some noise disruption.
