Improvements Costing £750,000 For Robert Smyth Academy

Improvements costing £750,000 are to be made at Market Harborough’s Robert Smyth Academy.
The work – starting during the summer holidays – will include classrooms, corridors and offices being refurbished and a new student services area created.
The Burnmill Road site will also be made secure,
with the installation of automated gates, new audio-visual equipment will be put in all rooms and the Wi-Fi network across the entire school will be upgraded.
The historic William Bragg building will also be brought back to life, with specialist treatment of the stonework and repointing of the brickwork.
The Tudor Grange Academies Trust, which Robert Smyth joined last year, is funding the work.
