Improvements Begin To Parking Outside Railway Station

Improvements are being made to the front of Market Harborough Railway Station after the car parking area was branded ‘a mess’.
Complaints had been made about a revised parking layout outside the main station building, which was causing confusion and congestion for drivers.
East Midlands Railway has now reinstated the ‘taxi loop,’ with other work to follow, including putting in more short-stay parking bays, for people dropping off and picking up passengers.
Harborough MP Neil O’Brien held an on-site meeting with officials last month to call for action and has welcomed the start of the improvement work.
