Highway Bosses Left Red-Faced After Signs Blunder

Highway bosses have been left red-faced after mistakes were made on signs advising drivers of road closures in Market Harborough town centre.

Adam and Eve Street is referred to as ‘Adam and Eva Street’ and the ‘r’ is missing from Church Street, so it reads ‘Chuch Street’.

The signs have been placed in Market Harborough town centre

Hfm has made Leicestershire Council Council aware of the blunder and a spokesperson said: “We’ve recently become aware of an incorrect road closure sign for Adam and Eve Street and Church Street, Market Harborough. The signs will be replaced today.”
