Jobs are at risk after plans were announced to close a pub restaurant on the outskirts of Market Harborough.
The Langton Inn Table Table is among nearly 200 restaurant sites next to Premier Inn hotels set to shut, with up to 4,000 roles affected across the UK and Ireland.

Owner Whitbread says some venues could be converted into hotel space or sold, as it looks to become a hotel-focused business centred on its Premier Inn brand.
The company says the changes are part of a new five-year plan, with around 600 additional hotel rooms expected to be created through conversions.
A consultation has begun with staff at the site off the A6 at West Langton, and Whitbread says it hopes to redeploy as many affected employees as possible.
A Whitbread spokesperson added: “We recognise the impact of this proposal on colleagues who work at the affected sites. As a business which recruits around 15,000 people every year, we expect to be able to retain a significant proportion of those affected and will be looking to redeploy as many of our impacted colleagues as possible.”
