New Illuminated Artwork to Be Installed at Market Harborough Park

A new illuminated public artwork is set to become a landmark feature at a Market Harborough park next month.
A three-metre tall steel sculpture will be installed at Friendship Park on Northampton Road, with preparatory work on the base and electrical connections due to begin shortly.

The £10,000 project is being funded by FCC Environment, the council contractor which helped create the park last year.
The artwork is expected to become a focal point within the park and will be illuminated after dark.
