Man Denies Drugs & Weapons Offences After Arrest In Fleckney

An man has denied a series of charges including allegedly supplying cocaine and heroin after being arrested in Fleckney.
Nicolas McManus was charged after officers from Leicestershire Police’s Neighbourhood Proactive Team executed a warrant at an address in Goshawk Close in June.
McManus, 27, of Oadby, pleaded not guilty at Leicester Crown Court to multiple charges relating to the alleged supply and possession of Class A drugs.
The court heard he is accused of possessing more than £9,600 in cash, which prosecutors allege was criminal property.
McManus also denies charges relating to the alleged possession of cocaine and heroin with intent to supply, as well as allegations of supplying the drugs between March and June this year.
He also pleaded not guilty to several charges relating to having bladed articles in public, including allegations relating to an incident in Fleckney.
McManus was released on conditional bail, including an electronically monitored curfew from 8pm to 8am and an order not to enter Market Harborough.
A four-day trial is scheduled to take place at Leicester Crown Court in January 2028.
