Six fire engines and two water carriers are at the scene, with firefighters being assisted by crews from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service and Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service.

The northbound carriageway is closed while crews tackled the fire, and there is no access onto the M1 northbound from the A14 at Junction 19..

Two lanes of the southbound carriageway remain closed and drivers are being warned to expect long delays in the area.

Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes where possible while emergency services continue to deal with the incident.
