Hedgehog Survives ‘Horrific’ Act Of Cruelty

Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital has described the circumstances leading to a pregnant hedgehog being admitted as ‘horrific’.
The animal was thrown 20ft in the air over a fence and landed on a shed roof, after first being attacked by a dog.
The hedgehog is recovering at Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital in Kibworth
The hedgehog was taken to the Kibworth-based charity after being rescued by a neighbour following the incident in Blaby last week.
There are concerns the animal may lose her babies, but remarkably it survived the ordeal without sustaining any serious injuries.
