Harborough Pensioner ‘Over The Moon’ After Reunited With Pet Dog

A Market Harborough pensioner has been reunited with her beloved pet dog which spent almost three weeks on the run in Cornwall.

Ingrid Cooke collected Ozzie on Saturday after he was found thanks to the dedication of volunteers from DogLost Cornwall and hundreds of people who helped track his movements.

The five-year-old terrier cross had run off when Ingrid arrived for a holiday on the Lizard peninsula last month and she spent the whole time trying to find him, but had to head home empty-handed.

Ozzie was captured last Thursday when he entered a trap which had been placed in a remote area he had been sighted in and was reunited with his owner at Rosemullion Veterinary Hospital in Falmouth, where he had been checked over.

A delighted Ingrid says she is ‘over the moon’ to have Ozzie back and has thanked everyone involved in helping to locate him.

She told HFM Ozzie has become a bit of a celebrity in Cornwall:
