Harborough Lotto Winners Reflect On First Year As Millionaires

The moment a Harborough couple found out they had scooped a million pounds on the National Lottery has been released.

A year on from the jackpot win, Terri and John Picton-Clark have also been reflecting on what life is like to be millionaires.

The couple had no idea they had won until they went into WH Smith in Market Harborough to get their ticket checked, and were told they needed to phone the Lotto direct.

Here’s the call:

 

Since the life-changing win, which happened during the third lockdown, Terri and John have bought a new house in a village near Market Harborough, which needed major renovation work and treated themselves to a new car each.

They have also been helping others, including buying laptops schoolchildren and are set to make a donation to help the situation in Ukraine.
