Donations To Help Ukraine Refugees Set To Arrive On Tuesday

Thousands of items donated locally to help refugees fleeing Ukraine are set to arrive in Poland on Tuesday.
There has been an amazing response to the Harborough and Northants Ukraine Appeal, with thousands of items for babies donated in Great Bowden and Haselbech over the past few days.

The donations will be form part of a bigger aid shipment leaving on Monday, which will go to a warehouse in Poland and then be distributed to orphanages across the country, which are are caring for mothers and babies who have had to leave Ukraine.
Oliver Le Sueur from Great Bowden organised the appeal and spoke to Hfm:

An on-line fundraising page launched to support the appeal has raised over £1900 in just a day – support it HERE
There are no more collections for the appeal for now, although organisers may organise more next week.
