Harborough Businesses Attend ‘Go Green’ Event

Business bosses from across the Harborough district have been finding out how to do more to reduce their carbon footprint and be more sustainable.

The ‘Go Green Business Convention’ took place at Harborough Grow-on Centre today and featured training and advice from experts on how businesses can develop green ideas and become more environmentally-friendly.

The free event, organised by the District Council, took place at Harborough Grow-on Centre and was opened by Harborough MP Neil O’Brien, who spoke of Government policies aimed at helping businesses boost their green credentials.

There were also sessions on e-bikes, green loans and more sustainable business travel.
