Alyx From Great Glen Wins £32K On TV Quiz Show

A woman from Great Glen who won £32,000 on ITV’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire last night says she and her partner can now start a family.

Alyx Weston, who works as a bookkeeper for Beefayre in East Farndon, has spoken to Hfm about going on the show, and says she and partner Jonathan Grudgings, will use the some of the money to extend their house to make room for a new arrival.

Alyx was the first person to get into the hot-seat on the quiz show hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, after answering the first question quickest.
She only used one of her ‘lifelines’ – asking the audience for help in answering the question that got her to £16,000 – before missing out on progressing to £64,000.
