Go-Ahead For New Homes In Great Bowden

Plans for 11 new homes in Great Bowden have been approved, despite objections from residents.

The scheme by R2 Developments for land north of Dingley Road includes two affordable bungalows.

Eleven people objected, raising concerns about privacy and the impact on the character of the area.

However, planning officers said the development would help boost housing supply and, on balance, councillors voted to grant permission at Harborough District Council’s planning committee.
